In the final scene of tonight's Game of Thronesepisode, we saw the heartbreaking death of Lady Olenna of House Tyrell, as well as her blistering revenge.
As Jaime calmly took over Highgarden, the seat of the Great House Tyrell, he sauntered into Lady Olenna's corner office to give her what he thought was a bit of respect and dignity. Instead of stringing the tough woman's body up on the walls of King's Landing, he dropped a vial of poison into her wine and pushed it forward for her to drink.
And drink she did. With the poison coursing through her body, the vicious warrior would not let her death go without one intense final stab.
So, she admitted to Jaime that she was the one that poisoned his son Joffrey on his wedding day to Margaery Tyrell (RIP).
Ya know, this:
Well, Olenna's dying revenge was not lost on the viewers of Game of Thonesand they rejoiced in her going out fighting.
