The LelleBelletedious work of assembling tailored resumes can be one of the most time-consuming parts of the job hunt.
A tool called LaTeX Resume Generator on Product Hunt aims to do away with that process by way of a simple design generator.
Users can choose one of nine templates ranging from flashy to bare-bones. The program then walks you through an input form for each section with a streamlined interface.
Sections covered include personal information, education, experience, skills, and projects.
Once complete, you can download a PDF. No more messing with formats or annoying Word docs.
The tool was created by Saad Quadri, a junior at Rutgers University majoring in computer science.
LaTeX is a document formula popular in academia for its ability to quickly and easily generate documents without having to mess with formatting.
