Reminder to Masterson: "Innocent until proven guilty" is a legal standard, not a business one. It is also interesting to take that tact considering it seems Masterson may be charged, as the LAPD have investigated.
Netflix is ostensibly following a zero-tolerance policy regarding sexual misconduct on its sets after the accusations against Kevin Spacey and the swiftness with which multiple media companies distanced themselves from Louis C.K.
Oddly, this is the second time Ashton Kutcher will work on a show that's losing one of its main actors to inappropriate behavior; he famously took over for Charlie Sheen during the final seasons of Two and a Half Men.
The Ranchis scheduled to premiere its next season (part 3) on Dec. 15, in which Masterson did appear.
