If it's only recording two to five events per day, expect to get more like six months out of the battery life.

With the free Google Home app, you'll be able to keep an eye on your front porch through your smart device. Google integrated smarter detection into the video doorbell which can differentiate between a person, animal, and car, reducing the likelihood you'll get alerted about leaves blowing by.
