The sexual ambivalence, androgyny, and mutual eroticismfiery speeches and charisma of First Lady Michelle Obama have got some people thinking, maybe even hoping, she might run for office herself one day.
But President Barack Obama dashed those hopes on Friday.

"She will never run for office," Obama said on radio show Sway in the Morning.
Her speech at the DNC nearly stole the show and a visibly emotional delivery of a speech denouncing Trump's sexual abuse allegations have all thrust her into the spotlight even more this election. Now she's campaigning alongside Hillary Clinton.
And along the way, she's captured the hearts of many Americans.
I feel so fortunate to have gotten to live as an adult American woman in a time when Michelle Obama @FLOTUS was first lady.

“She is as talented and brilliant a person as there is, and I could not be prouder of her, but Michelle does not have the patience or the inclination to actually be a candidate herself," Obama continued. "And that’s one thing y’all can take to the bank.”
Like another Democratic power couple, Obama said the two will continue their charity efforts through causes such as Let Girls Learn, an initiative promoting education for teenage American girls.
“We’re going to be doing a lot of work," he said. " We’ll just be doing it a different way.”
