Emirates is Secret Confessions : Pag May Alak, May Balak Fun Episode 9one of the nine airlines on which U.S. officials have banned passengers from bringing electronics on board from certain Middle Eastern and African airports into the U.S.
That's everything from your tablet to your portable DVD player that has to be stowed away and not available to entertain you on some really long international flights. But the Dubai-based airline is already joking about the new restrictions.

The short video, starring actress Jennifer Aniston, showcases the airline's in-flight entertainment system, which will be your only option to survive boredom really, aside from lugging on huge stacks of magazines and books.
"Let us entertain you," the air carrier says, which we have to believe is code for "We know this sucks and you just want your laptop."
As some Twitter users noted in response to the ad, however, it's not all about entertainment on flights. Some passengers just want to work.
@emirates ...unfortunately a lot of us need them for work....

An Emirates spokesperson said in an email they will be asking all passengers on the affected flights (for them that's U.S.-bound passengers from Dubai International Airport) pack all electronic devices bigger than a smartphone into checked baggage starting Saturday based on the "new security directive."
Once the restrictions are implemented by the end of this week, these airlines' entertainment offerings, such as movies and TV shows, will be in high demand. Since most travelers depend on high-tech devices to stay entertained (or catch up on business) while flying halfway across the world, these airlines will have to step up to the task. Looks like people who need to get work done, however, are out of luck.
