Is Apple still committed to desktop computers?watch free porn movies online Some examples, like the Mac Pro, which hasn't been updated in three years, make it hard to argue that it is.
Now, in an internal forum post to Apple employees, dug out by TechCrunch, Apple CEO Tim Cook addresses the issue, claiming Apple is still very much interested in the desktop, and that it plans to launch new desktop products in the future.

If there’s any doubt about that with our teams, let me be very clear: we have great desktops in our roadmap. Nobody should worry about that," he wrote.
"Desktops are really important, and in some cases critical, to people."
In the post, Cook also praises the current generation iMac (which hasn't been updated in over a year) as the "best desktop" Apple has ever made. Cook calls the desktop "strategic" to Apple, saying it is "really important, and in some cases critical, to people."
Be that as it may, the rumors of a new Mac Pro or iMac in 2016 have not materialized; latest rumors point to a March 2017 event that will focus on Apple's desktops.
In his post, Cook also addresses some of the company's values, claiming Apple's "greatest differentiator is our culture and our people." In a particularly interesting part, Cook challenges the notion that Apple has everything planned years in advance.
"You can rarely see precisely where you want to go from the beginning. In retrospect, it’s always written like that. But it’s rarely like that. The fantastic thing about Apple employees is they get excited about something, and they want to know how it works.
"They’re focused more on the journey, which enables so many great things to happen," he wrote.
