New York City humans and Engsub Archivesdisease-ridden sewer rats agree: one slice is never enough.
In 2015, a video went viral featuring a New York City subway rat dragging a slice of pizza down a set of stairs. That was the last good memory many of us had before Trump became president and our brains lost the ability to record positive events.
Over the weekend, however, anotherNew York City subway rat emerged to drag a slice of pizza down the tracks -- bringing joyful pangs of identification to us gross people everywhere.
SEE ALSO: Your childhood dreams are coming true — you can eat pizza for breakfastTwitter user @michaelcourant posted the footage to Instagram and Twitter over the weekend.

According to his Instagram post, Michael reports finding the rat at the 59th St. and Lexington Avenue subway station. That's a particularly delightful detail, given that that area is home to Bloomingdales and a high concentration of wealthy, easily frightened tourists.
It should be noted that critics have accused the original pizza rat of being a scam propagated by improv comedians. And while I'm willing to blame the improv community for literally anything, the evidence for the theory is relatively scanty.
Times are dark. Let's accept this video as is and not question its integrity further. Thanks!
