There's nothing more American than good ol' apple pie and Triple Play episode 5 season 1 - Joe and Mandia lawsuit.
In January, internet audiences everywhere were alternately charmed -- and horrified -- after the USA Freedom Kids performed at a Donald Trump rally. The girls couldn't have been more frighteningly enthusiastic supporters, as they sang a spirit rally song about the benefits a Trump presidency could bring.
But recently, the group's manager, Jeff Popick, officially filed a lawsuit against Trump, claiming that the candidate failed to pay up for the group's appearances.

Maybe he just forgot to Venmo?
The manager, who is also the father of one of the children in the group, has been planning to sue the candidate for months. In the lawsuit, Popick argues that the group agreed to sell merchandise in lieu of pay and travel expenses. Popick estimated that their profits from the merchandise would exceed $2,500.
When the group arrived at the event, however, Popick described the scene as "chaos" and no one had bothered to set up a merchandise table. In fact, he alleges, security didn't even let the group bring their merchandise into the stadium. The girls left their t-shirts, CDs and patriotic posters in the parking lot, where it was subsequently stolen.
Which begs the question: people still buy CDs?
Shortly after the group's first appearance went viral, the Trump campaign asked the Freedom Kids to perform at a rally in Iowa. Upon arrival, however, the group was allegedly informed that their services were "not needed" but they were allowed to sit and watch the rally on the condition they didn't speak out about the mishap.
Popick is now suing the Trump campaign for $15,000 in damages.
There have been over 3,500 lawsuits against the presidential candidate to date.
