This isn't the first time Google has partnered with a major brand for a dessert-themed Android update. The company had a similar partnership with Nestle four years ago when it launched Android KitKat. That update, which was previously thought to be "Key Lime Pie," launched Android-branded candy bars, which were sold in a handful of countries, including the U.S., Japan, and UK.
People who bought the the Android edition Kit Kats also had the chance of winning a Nexus 7 tablet or Google Play credits.
