Passengers on Second Hand Market Find A SeppaKuwait Airways and Royal Jordanian will finally be able to use the internet again on their laptops on flights to the United States.
The companies, which were part of a number of airlines affected by security measures banning electronic devices from cabins on flights to the U.S., announced the news Sunday.
It follows a similar relaxation of the restrictions from Emirates and Turkish Airlines last week.
Royal Jordanian CEO and President Stefan Pichler said in a statement that "snhanced security measures" now meet the requirements of the US Department of Homeland Security’s new security guidelines. Kuwait Airways also reportedly said the U.S. inspected security measures on the company's flights, prompting the ban to be lifted.
Separate tweets marked the news on both airlines' accounts, including a tired meme from Jordanian.
