BERLIN -- Lenovo's line of laptop/tablet hybrids has a new king: the Yoga 910,eroticization-of-fear whose nearly invisible bezels let it fit a 13.9-inch screen into a 13-inch laptop body.
The Yoga 910 comes with a range of Intel processors (up to a Core i7 model), a maximum of 16GB of memory, and up to 1TB of SSD storage. It also comes with Intel's graphics chip and a 720p webcam at the bottom (due to the slim bezels it was likely impossible for Lenovo to place it at the top, leaving the very bottom of the screen as the next best option).

I had a little hands-on time with a mid-range variant of the device (Intel Core i5 processor with 8GB of RAM), and my initial impressions are mixed. The device is blazing fast, appears well-built, the screen is gorgeous, and the bezels on the top and sides are indeed barely there.
However, the bezel on the bottom of the screen is exactly the opposite -- it is unusually thick, taking up about a fifth of the screen, which led to me constantly try to push the mouse pointer below the screen's end. It's a design choice which might sit better with some users than the others -- after all, Lenovo could've easily put an aluminum stripe below the bottom bezel. I guess it wouldn't be too hard to get used to, but it still felt odd to me.
Another slightly strange design choice is the device's "watchband" hinge, which was just too blingy for my taste (see above). Again, your mileage may vary. The Lenovo Yoga 910 will hit stores in October, starting at $1,299.
