According to neighbors,Watch Sexy Assassins (2012) social media star Jake Paul is a really bad person to have as a neighbor.
Local news outlet KTLA published a hit piece on the Disney actor on Monday, which backed up neighbors' claims that Paul is an absolute terror to all forced to witness the making of his sweet, sweet #content.
SEE ALSO: YouTuber climbing a 95-floor building without equipment isn't for the faint of heartPaul, who lives in West Hollywood, frequently uses his rental home to create YouTube videos. His home is basically a content studio for his influencer agency Team 10, and the house and neighborhood are frequently featured in prank clips on his YouTube channel. Recently, Paul lit a bunch of crap on fire in his empty pool. Who wouldn't want to live next to a neighbor that has fun bonfires?
"We used to be this really quiet street and now we're just like this war zone," neighbor Maytal Dahan told KTLA. "We're more than happy to have them live here if they're respectful of their neighbors but they're not.
KTLA arrived at Paul's apartment to a crowd of young fans. Paul's address is apparently no secret on the internet, and young fans, lovingly called Jake Paulers, (ew) showing up at the home hoping to catch a glimpse or be featured in one of his videos is the norm.
While filming the news clip, Paul climbed on top of KTLA's fancy news van and appeared confused when the reporter asked him to get off.
When confronted with the news that Paul's neighbors were not happy with his presence, he feigned shock. Later, he gave a half-assed excuse and attempted to make fun of the reporter with a two-year-old meme.
"It's terrible, it's a bad situation," Paul said. "I feel bad for them. For sure. There's nothing we can do though, the Jake Paulers are the strongest army out there. Dab."
He then dabbed.
The clip ends with Paul asking the reporter, "What are thooooose?" while pointing at his shoes, which stems from a meme popular in summer of 2015 where people point out ugly shoes and ask the question.
Who would have thought that a YouTuber known for pranks would be an asshole to his neighbors?
But there is some hope: luckily, Paul does not own the property in West Hollywood, and according to Mic, neighbors are meeting with police, city leaders, and code enforcement officials to potentially file a class-action public nuisance lawsuit against the homeowner and Paul.
Paul tweeted a snippet of the KTLA interview Tuesday with a dare to his neighbors.
Then he did a very punk rock thing. He tweeted "Don't conform to society." Very badass.
