The No. 11-seeded Duquesne Dukes enter the contest 25-11 overall. Most recently, Duquesne beat No. 6-seeded BYU 71-67 on Thursday to start the tournament. Dae Dae Grant led Duquesne with 19 points, three rebounds and two assists vs. BYU.
No. 3-seeded Illinois comes into the matchup 27-8 overall. On Thursday, the Fighting Illini defeated Morehead State 85-69 in the tournament’s first round. Marcus Domask had a triple-double for Illinois with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists.
