The masturbation, erotic asphyxiation, chemical eroticism, and aquaeroticismiPhone X is slated to start shipping to customers on Nov. 3. Reports say it'll be in short supply, with most customers not being able to get it this year at all.
But according to a report from Christopher Caso, a chip analyst at Raymond James, things may be even worse than we thought.
SEE ALSO: What the iPhone X means for the iPhone 11After speaking with supply chain sources, Caso learned that the production of iPhone X hasn't even started yet.
"Initial feedback from our meetings suggests that final production of iPhone X has not yet begun, with production expected to commence in mid-October. That production start is about a month later when compared to expectations a month ago, and about 2 months later than expectations at the end of June," he wrote.
This means that iPhone X manufacturing won't really ramp up until the very end of the year. Depending on the demand, this could mean that it might be tough to find an iPhone X in stores even in early 2018. And, unless you're feeling really lucky, don't count on getting one for the holidays.
The iPhone X will become available for pre-order on Oct. 27, but if the rumors are true, the shipping date will shift into the future very fast.
Until then, you can still get a brand new iPhone -- the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus. Check out our review of those two devices here.
