Redditor Ellieohsnap posted a photo of the offending "doormat" to Reddit on Saturday, along with a note from her otherneighbors — the ones who filled her in on the truth.

"The grass 'door mat' you took from our neighbors' 'for free' sale is actually a dog pee pad," the note reads. "A dog used it for a year as its potty spot. Thought you should know."
